Police escort abnormal load

Motorists are advised they may experience delays on both Wednesday 16  and Thursday 17 November 2016, as police escort the transportation of an abnormal load through the county.

The 5.29m wide, 24m long and 5.2m high Silo weighing 44,000kg will move from Felixstowe Docks, Suffolk to Moulton Road, Tivetshall St Margaret, Norfolk at 9am.

The route will be as follows:

Dock Road – A14 – A140 – B1134 – Moulton Road

Delays can be expected along these routes.

1.8	At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A14
10.1	Orwell Bridge
21.7	Take the A140 ramp to Diss/Norwich/B1078 DissNorwich A140 (B1078)
21.9	At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A140 Norwich A140 Diss (A1066) Coddenham (B1078)
37.7	At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A140 Norwich A140 DissThetford (A1066)
38.0	At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A140 Norwich A140
40.2	At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A140
43.0	Turn left onto Rectory Rd
43.7	Turn right onto The St
43.9	Continue onto School Rd
